About usability :

    Menu texts are unreadable on Webkit-like browsers (too small)
  • Planning, détails et orateurs
  • visiteurs, presse…
  • connexion et avantages

The dropping-down menus items rely on a mouseover, which is a bad usability practice.

Login sub-space : you have to maintain your cursor on a certain zone if you want to keep the form available, this is a especially bad practice.

There is now way of using this interface on touch devices.

Useful content is too low on the page and may not appear on every screen.

There is no easy-t-read/condensed text about the event.

Vidéos and Gazouillis contents are irrelevant and the Capital letters are in a different Typographic character which makes them uneasy to read and to select.

The aside panel does not give any valuable information to the user : partners and list of followers are not as relevant as “who within your network is assisting”.

Accessibility/best practices :

    Moreover, i noticed 2 things i was not expecting to find on a recent website :
  • no microformats usage
  • hard coded <span style=”font-size:14pt”>blah</span>
  • Inappropriate use of <table>
